Wrestlemania is behind us and that means we're in for a good episode of Raw tonight. Rumors are saying that there will be another superstar shakeup soon which is part of the reason for the rule change addressed when I sent the website sneak peak two days ago. The other reason for that change is to give players more ability to be creative with how they play. It's your team; run it however you'd like to.
If you're reading this, then you're on the full version of the website. I hope everyone likes the new look and logo. And I hope the blog works well as the centerpiece of it.
We will not have to use a forum this season. Team changes are back to being done through text messaging. This allows you to quickly see what everyone is doing with their teams which should make for a more competitive game. Team change updates will be posted periodically on the blog.
Live scoring will still be a thing for this season. Except it will be done through the blog instead of forum posts. That should make it better since you won't have to sign in to see the live scores.
Finishers have been limited back to one per wrestler to make it easier to track for everyone. For the full written out finisher rule, see the Rules page.
There is no injured reserve spot for this season. We have one spot to use as a bench so if you'd like to keep an injured wrestler, put them there.
As a final rule change, we're back to monitoring standings by win loss records. It's easier to understand and with the new way pay-per-views count, it'll work better. Pay-per-views now count the same as two weeks of regular games. Double points, double wins, double losses.
Finally, I wanted to clarify the new rule about no team changes being done in between Raw and Smackdown. Your team is locked from the beginning of Raw until the end of Smackdown every week. No changes during that time. (Well, you can but won't become active until after the lock). However, if one of your superstars is injured between Raw and Smackdown, you can switch them with the EXISTING bench wrestler on your team if you choose.
Looking forward to the start of the season and I hope everyone else is too. More information coming soon.
