We are only a few days away from the beginning of Season 13: Old School. Tomorrow is our five year anniversary party and the draft for the season. Carl won The Gauntlet and so automatically has first pick. All other draft picks will be randomly determined. Anyone not in attendance for the draft will not play this season. It is a standard draft like last season.
Party starts at 2:00pm tomorrow afternoon with a WWE 2K18 tournament. Match types will be chosen at random and participants will be chosen at random. You could find yourself in a handicap match or a triple threat ladder match or a standard singles match for example. It's all up to chance. Once you've played a match, you are done for round 1. After everyone plays a match, we move to round 2. If you lose any 2 matches, you are out of the tournament. Last person left standing wins the first ever ACFW WWE 2K Championship.
Following the tournament, we will draw our draft order at random (except for Carl) and start the draft. WWE's Super Showdown event will be playing at some point. After the draft, feel free to stick around to watch the show and such. Season 13 officially kicks off with Raw on Monday.
As for the season itself, I've changed three things. First, there's a slight edit to the finisher rule. Be sure to read that. Second, there's a minor change to the number one contender rule. Now, any match that grants a championship opportunity can count as a number one contender's match. Finally, I've made a rather major change to how the postseason works...
The #1 ranked team after the regular season automatically advances to the championship game. #2-4 will face off in a triple threat, two week playoff game with the winner advancing to the championship game.
Season 13 Schedule:
October 8th- Monday Night Raw/Season Start
November 2nd- Crown Jewel
November 18th- Survivor Series
December 16th- TLC
There will be 12 weeks of competition ending January 1st with Smackdown. The December 24th Raw and December 25th Smackdown will not be scored. Playoffs will last for two weeks, beginning with the January 7th Raw and ending with the January 15th Smackdown.
The Royal Rumble on January 27th will be the championship game. Also, please note that the Evolution pay-per-view on October 28th will not be scored.
