Now, we have reached the top of the list. These four games are the best of the best. They were competitive, entertaining, intense, and they defined their respective seasons. Let's jump straight into it...
#4) Season 2: Terry defeats Austin 62.5-44
This game was the first championship game that actually had a championship belt, the first Fetner Foundation vs Cagle Corporation championship game, and a highly competitive match. Despite the final score, this one was close all the way to the end. Austin even had the lead with less than two minutes remaining in the pay per view. But, John Cena won the main event and the championship for Terry. Austin would not end up winning a title until Season 8 after this.
Austin's team was amazing in the regular season, earning him the #1 spot in the rankings. But Terry's team was steadily improving. By the time of the championship game, Terry had John Cena, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose. In the end, that team was unbeatable at the Money in the Bank PPV. This game was one of only a few games that came down to the final few minutes of the show, which earned it a ranking this high on the list. Well, that and it was definitely one of the most memorable games in ACFW history.
#3) Season 1: Ben defeats Chris 64-61
This was where it all began. Both Chris and Ben had excellent teams, both of them showed up for the championship, and the first ever championship game came down to the final two men in the Royal Rumble. It doesn't get much better than that. Reigns vs Batista. Chris vs Ben. Whoever wins the Royal Rumble also wins the ACFW title.
This game is ranked at #3 because it had one of the best conclusions of any game on this list. It also is the second-closest final score any game has had. The only reason it isn't ranked higher is because there didn't seem to be any hope of Reigns actually eliminating Batista. And the top 2 games are both absolutely incredible.
Tomorrow is the final reveal of the top 2 games on my list. I don't think anyone is surprised by which 2 games those are, but what order will they be in?
