This series has been fun to write and now we're going to talk about which two games I ranked above all the rest. Both of these games were insane, both of them were awesome, and both of them could really be ranked #1. This is the last part of this series, so let's see the top two...
#2) Season 8: Austin defeats Ben 122-104
There is not enough room in this blog post to talk about all the great things with this game (or the next one). This was a match between two of the best teams this league has ever seen and these two teams facing off for the championship seemed inevitable less than halfway through the season. In Season 8, we still had separate divisions and both of these teams dominated their respective divisions. Only one other team besides these two even finished with a winning record. Together, they had an overall record of 81-17-2 with 1,304 total points. Keep in mind this was an all-play season where every team played every other team every week.
The championship game itself was a clash of the titans and it lived up to the hype. Prior to the game, the most points ever scored at a PPV was 98. Both teams broke that record in the championship and neither of those scores has been beaten to this day. It doesn't get much more memorable than that.
#1) Season 13: Ben and Terry tie 76-76
Season 13 was the last time Terry played (prior to this season) and it ended in the most bizarre way possible. Going into the game, Terry was an 11-point favorite. Ben, who was ranked #1 and had gotten to skip the playoffs, was the underdog. The show went almost exactly as expected and by the time the Men's Royal Rumble match started, I'd stopped scoring as the game was essentially already over. Terry had the lead and both team's wrestlers had already had their matches.
That was until #30 entered the 2019 Royal Rumble. That was R-Truth. At least until Nia Jax suddenly attacked him and stole his spot in the match. It wasn't until a few minutes later that it occurred to anyone that Nia Jax was on Ben's team... and she scored exactly enough points to force a tie.
The rules award the title to the higher ranked team in the event of a tie and that gave Ben his third ACFW Championship.

And that concludes this series. Tomorrow, we add a 16th championship to the league's history. It's projected to be a good one. How will it compare to the other games on this list?
