Ben: 48 beat Chris: 22
- Ben followed up his incredible week 4 with an even better week 5, winning the game of the week in a one sided match. Chris is still looking significantly better than his team early on but there was no one that was going to compete with Ben in week 5. This one was over before Raw even ended. With the win, Ben is now definitely the #4 team in the standings. Chris, on the other hand, is looking to get things back on track next week against Phillip.
Madelyn: 18.5 beat Jeff: 16
- For the first time this season, Madelyn scored less than 30 points in a week. Not only that, she scored less than 20. First time all season she's been outside the top 4 in points in any game. But, she still won. And despite the single missing victory point, is still the #1 team. Her last three wins have been by a combined 5 points, so her team is at least looking vulnerable. The question going forward is can anyone actually beat her?
Austin: 32.5 beat Jacob: 26.5
- A huge performance from Drew McIntyre made this one closer than a lot of people thought it would be. Even something as simple as a change at team captain could have changed the outcome of this one. As it stands, Austin has broken his two week losing streak and Jacob was unable to continue his winning streak. Both teams played well though, and Jacob did still finish in the top 4, so he did come out of the game with one victory point.
Terry: 42 beat Phillip: 11
- For Terry, this week was more of the same. He has now won three games in a row by double digits and won this one by 31. Apart from week 1, he has scored the maximum amount of victory points in every week and at the PPV. This still leaves him 1 victory point behind Madelyn but he is now within reach for the #1 spot. Next weeks game against Ben promises to have a lasting effect on the rest of the season. As for Phillip, his team still hasn't quite found its rhythm. Can that change in the coming weeks? Of course it can. We're halfway through the season. His game next week against Chris should be a sign of what the future holds for both teams.
